The original limestone bust of Nefertiti was sculpted around 1340 BC by the artist Thutmose in Amarna, Egypt. It is believed to have served as a model for artists in the royal workshop. The limestone core was enhanced with layers of stucco, particularly around the crown and shoulders, to achieve a lifelike appearance. Discovered in 1915 in Amarna, the bust now resides in the Egyptian Museum, where it continues to captivate visitors with its timeless beauty.
